Job Description

  • The role of User Interface Designer within the Digital Customer Experience team is pivotal for enhancing the design and usability of digital applications across various platforms.
  • Collaboration with UI/UX designers and front-end developers is essential to ensure an outstanding digital customer experience.
  • Responsible for crafting designs for over 2 million users of Belgium’s acclaimed “Best Banking app” recognized by SIA Partners.
  • Responsibilities include delivering impeccable visual designs and specifications based on wireframes provided by UX colleagues.
  • Distilling design components and documenting them in the style guide is part of the role.
  • Actively contribute to the evolution of the KDL Design System.
  • Test creations during ICT sprint deliveries to ensure top-notch UX/UI delivery.
  • While experience with Motion Design and animations is beneficial, it’s not mandatory for this role.

Profile

  • Candidates should possess at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in fields such as Digital Design, Multimedia, or Product Design, with a strong emphasis on UI design.
  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency in UI aspects such as usability, behavior, and animations are essential.
  • Ability to contribute technically to design system/components is crucial.
  • Proficiency in Figma is required, while familiarity with Adobe tools like XD, Illustrator, and AfterEffects is advantageous.
  • Prior exposure to Figma Design Systems is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of operating system-specific design guidelines is a must, along with creativity in navigating generic intermediate languages.
  • Basic HTML and CSS knowledge is recommended.
  • Candidates should stay updated on the latest trends in responsive interface design.
  • The position is located in Belgium.
